Our bases are made by a local manufacturer of the best quality in three formats: the mattest, chalkiest, beautiful emulsion for walls and ceilings, sturdy exterior and interior grade, universal eggshell and a super flat, universal matt – a durable washable alternative to emulsion. Below are products descriptions for the 2 types of paint that we sell.
Chalky Emulsion is for use on interior walls and ceilings.
It is a highly pigmented, extra matt, water-based paint providing super coverage. This paint can be diluted with water and used as a stain, still holding its colour. It can also be used to create antique or distressed effects on furniture.
Chalky Emulsion is available in 100ml (sample), 1, 2.5 and 5 litre tins.
Universal Eggshell and Universal Matt are paints for use on almost any interior or exterior surface. They can be used on walls ceilings, wood, brick, stone, render, plastic and some metals.
They are durable, water-based paints that can be used as an environmentally friendly alternative to oil-based products. They are self priming, so it is possible to use them directly on surfaces without the need of a separate priming product. Both products can be applied directly to plastic, metal (zinc, copper and galvanised) and preciously painted surfaces.
Universal Eggshell and Universal Matt are available in 750ml and 2.5 litre tins. Some colours are also available in 5 litre tins.
